What is Media Literacy?
In today’s digital age, media is everywhere—on our phones, TVs, and in our children’s classrooms. As mothers, understanding media literacy is crucial to help guide our children through the overwhelming amount of information they encounter daily. For us moms, it means having the skills to help your family understand the messages they see online, on TV, in advertisements, and through social media.
In today’s digital world, children are constantly exposed to media, from YouTube videos to social media posts, and even online games. As a mom, media literacy empowers you to:

- Help them recognize misleading or harmful content.
- Encourage healthy digital habits and critical thinking.
- Protect them from online dangers such as scams, fake news, and cyberbullying.
